Published on Apr 27, 2018 at 6:56 pm in Car Accidents.

If you’ve been involved in a car accident, you likely have a great deal of questions that are weighing heavily on your mind. Your first concern should always be your health, wellbeing, and safety and the health and safety of those around you. Make sure everyone gets the medical attention they need—even if injuries are not immediately obvious—and make everything else a secondary priority.

After everyone involved in the crash has received the medical attention they need, you may wonder what actions to take next and under what circumstances it makes sense to call a car accident attorney—and when they should be notified. In general, calling a lawyer as soon as possible after a crash is highly recommended. Not only can an experienced lawyer help you navigate every step that comes afterwards including dealing with pesky insurance agents, but reaching out to one can bring peace of mind.

Many people get the flu shot each year to give themselves a better chance of staying healthy throughout the season. They usually think that they’re doing something beneficial to their health.

In some rare cases, shots may do more harm than good. It’s important to know the risks. A flu shot can sometimes cause injuries. If you or a loved one has gotten a flu shot and are experiencing pain, your life can be put on hold. The pain in your shoulder may prevent you from going to work, which means you could have lost wages. Situations like this could make you go to work and try to push through the pain and make your injuries even worse.

Is Resident-on-Resident Abuse an Issue in Nursing Homes?

Published on Mar 7, 2018 at 7:26 pm in Nursing Home Neglect.

What people may not think about is other residents.

Resident-on-resident abuse is an issue in many nursing homes. Unfortunately, this phenomenon is understudied so there isn’t a lot of data reporting cases of resident-on-resident nursing home abuse.
